LogJam Consulting Privacy Policy

This section applies to businesses and individuals who engage LogJam Consulting (a division of Mylogjam LLC) for analytics, marketing, video production, or advisory services, and to visitors of mylogjam.com. If you use our Breaker Create mobile app, see the Breaker Create App Privacy Policy below.

Who we are

LogJam Consulting is operated by Mylogjam LLC ("LogJam," "we," "us," or "our"), a Tennessee limited liability company based in Knoxville, Tennessee. We serve independent businesses, medical practices, financial advisors, professional service firms, and other clients primarily across the Southeastern United States.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to deliver our services and run our business.

  • Contact and business information you provide directly (name, email, phone, company name, role, and other details you share on discovery calls, in proposals, or in signed engagements).
  • Website analytics on mylogjam.com (pages viewed, referrer, general location by IP, device type). We use standard first-party analytics tools for this.
  • Marketing engagement data (whether you opened an email we sent, clicked a link, or downloaded a lead magnet such as the Practice Visibility Audit).
  • Payment information handled by our payment processors (Stripe or Ramp). We do not store full card numbers.
  • Client-provided data during active engagements (advertising account access, analytics platform access, brand assets, marketing performance data, and content we produce on your behalf). We access this only to deliver the services you have contracted for.

Why we collect it

We use the information above to respond to inquiries, deliver contracted services, invoice and get paid, improve our website and marketing, and stay in touch with clients and prospects who have opted in to hear from us. We do not use client-provided data to train AI models, and we do not resell client data or marketing performance data to third parties.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the vendors and platforms we use to run the business, and only as needed. Current service providers include:

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of clients or the public, or in connection with a merger or acquisition, in which case we will notify affected clients in advance.

We do not sell your personal information.

Confidentiality of client work

All work we perform for a client is treated as confidential. Client data (advertising performance, patient volume, revenue figures, internal metrics, creative work in progress) is used only to deliver the engagement contracted for. We restrict access to client accounts to the LogJam team members working on your file. On request, we will return or delete client data at the close of an engagement, subject to legal record-keeping obligations.

Data retention

We keep client business records (contracts, invoices, communications) for up to seven years to meet tax and legal requirements. Marketing engagement data is retained for up to two years unless you unsubscribe or request deletion. Analytics data is retained per the settings on the underlying platform. Client-provided data delivered during an engagement is retained per the terms of your engagement letter and returned or deleted on request at the close of the engagement.

  • Correct or update your information.
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.

Residents of the EU, UK, and California have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, email info@mylogjam.com.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect the information we hold. This includes TLS in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, least-privilege access controls, multi-factor authentication on business accounts, and periodic security review. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your data has been affected by a security incident, contact us immediately.

International transfers

LogJam Consulting is operated from the United States. If you contact us or engage us from outside the U.S., your data is transferred to and processed in the U.S. and in countries where our service providers operate. By working with us, you consent to this transfer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and, for material changes, notify clients and email subscribers by email.

Health information and HIPAA

LogJam Consulting works with independent medical practices and specialty clinics. If your engagement with LogJam involves any Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and its implementing regulations (HIPAA), the terms below apply and control over any conflicting language elsewhere in this policy.

Our default is no PHI. LogJam designs advertising, video, and analytics engagements to be delivered without access to PHI. We target ads based on demographics, geography, interests, and non-PHI audience signals rather than patient lists. Marketing content and video assets do not identify individual patients, disclose treatment or diagnostic information, or use before-and-after imagery unless the client has obtained appropriate written patient authorization and provided it to us in advance.

When PHI is involved, we sign a BAA first. Before LogJam accesses any PHI on behalf of a covered entity, LogJam and the client will execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) that governs the use, disclosure, and safeguarding of PHI. LogJam will provide its BAA template on request, and is prepared to review and negotiate a client-provided BAA in good faith.

How we safeguard PHI when it is present. When LogJam creates, receives, maintains, or transmits PHI on behalf of a client, LogJam applies administrative, physical, and technical safeguards consistent with the HIPAA Security Rule, including full-disk encryption on all devices, multi-factor authentication on all business accounts, a shared password manager with strong unique passwords, role-based access limited to personnel with a need to know, encryption of PHI in transit and at rest, HIPAA privacy and security awareness training for personnel with PHI access, and written subcontractor agreements with anyone who may touch PHI.

What we will not do with PHI. LogJam will never sell PHI or exchange it for remuneration outside the narrow exceptions permitted by HIPAA, will not use PHI for direct-to-individual marketing communications except as expressly authorized under 45 C.F.R. § 164.508(a)(3), and will not use PHI to train, tune, or improve any artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language model. LogJam does not use client-provided data, whether PHI or not, to train AI models.

Breach notification. If LogJam discovers a breach of unsecured PHI, LogJam will notify the affected client without unreasonable delay and no later than fifteen (15) calendar days after discovery, and will cooperate with the client's investigation, mitigation, and notification obligations under HIPAA.

Requests for a BAA or HIPAA information. Prospective or current clients who need a BAA, want a copy of LogJam's HIPAA safeguards summary, or have questions about how LogJam handles PHI can email robert@mylogjam.com with the subject line "HIPAA request." We will respond within two business days.

Breaker Create App Privacy Policy

Breaker Create is built and operated by Mylogjam LLC ("Breaker," "we," "us," or "our"), a Tennessee limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Breaker Create mobile app or visit mylogjam.com, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible. We do not sell your data.

The short version. We collect: your account email, the social accounts you connect, the posts and tests you create in Breaker, basic device and usage info, and subscription status. We use this info to run the app, publish to platforms you connect, and improve Breaker. We share data only with the service providers listed below, and only as needed to run the service.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

  • Account info: email address, password (hashed), and display name when you sign up.
  • Social account connections: OAuth tokens for the platforms you connect (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Facebook). We store these tokens encrypted and use them only to publish content you create in Breaker and to read post analytics.
  • Content: the posts, captions, thumbnails, videos, and A/B tests you create in Breaker.
  • Support communications: emails you send to info@mylogjam.com.

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device & app info: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, and approximate region (derived from IP, never precise location).
  • Usage info: which features you use, when, and basic interaction events. We do not record the content of your screens.
  • Crash & diagnostic logs: if Breaker crashes, we collect a stack trace and a small set of recent events to fix the bug.
  • Advertising identifiers: if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS, we may use your IDFA for ad measurement. You can decline and Breaker Create still works.

1.3 Information from third parties

  • Social platforms: when you connect TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, or Facebook, we receive a limited profile and post-level engagement data for posts published through Breaker Create.
  • Subscription processors: Apple, Google, and RevenueCat tell us when your subscription is active, renewing, or canceled.

2. How We Use Information

  • Operate the Breaker Create app and publish content to platforms you have connected.
  • Run A/B tests, measure engagement, and surface analytics to you.
  • Process subscriptions and manage entitlements (Pro, Studio, Free).
  • Display ads to free-tier users (we do not pass content of your posts to ad networks).
  • Provide customer support and respond to your questions.
  • Improve and secure the app, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
